Wrestling, squash trials start

LAHORE: The wrestling and squash trials for the selection of Punjab teams to participate in the Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games started here on Wednesday.

Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games are scheduled to be staged in Islamabad Sports Complex from April 4 to 7.

The men’s wrestling trials were held at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall where 10 wrestlers were given complete opportunity to demonstrate their potential while 15 players (men and women) participated in the squash trials at Punjab Squash Complex.

Meanwhile, Punjab Sports director general Usman Anwar urged the probables to improve their performance for the Games.
