POC dilemma

Published February 10, 2016

MY daughter had applied to Nadra for Pakistan Origin Card (POC) in November, 2015. After repeated reminders we were told that the POC could not be issued for want of signatures of the applicant.

This happened even though it was apparent that the applicant was an infant and hence the question of her signatures did not arise.

I informed Nadra several times of the aforesaid position. But the POC has still not been issued. Requests for the refund of the fee, Rs26,350, have also not been accepted.
