one positive statement coming from Bilawal Zardari was his plea to the Sindh and AJK governments to lift the ban on student unions. All those who cherish the well-being of the student community must welcome this statement.
However, at the fag-end of their existence, the student unions had become the student wings of political parties and, instead of looking into student problems and their resolution, they were advancing the agenda of one political party or the other and leading the students away from their main duty of studying diligently.
If the student unions are restored, care must be taken that they do not become slaves again of political parties.

Judge sahib. The student unions have turned into militant wings of politiczl parties in the last three decades. It all started with jamiat's studdnt wing, then PPP under Murtaza Bhutto, and then APMSO under Altaf Hussain, then ANP also jumped in and now the latest addition is of PTI. All these student unions are fully armoured and gun battles between student uinons in colleges and universities is common. Bilawal Bhutto want to hide behind his party's militant wing to give it a legal status and restart his political career from campuses. There sill be bloodshed if student unions ard made active

In present situation in the country. I will not support to restore the
union student activities in school and colleges.we have already sufficient
political parties. Student should pay attention their education.
