PESHAWAR, Nov 2: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal Senator Prof Mohammad Ibrahim has criticized the shake-up in the information department.

In a statement issued from the JI’s headquarters, Al Markaz Al Islami, here on Sunday, Mr Ibrahim condemned the transfer and postings in the information department.

He said that the newly appointed director of public relations was the most junior in the seniority list, whereas many senior official were waiting for the posting in the same department.

He said the chief minister had earlier assured him that such changes would not be made in the information department. The appointment of a junior most officer as DPR was not just.

The JI senator said the appointments in the Zakat department, without taking the concerned minister into confidence, was also condemnable.
