BANGKOK: Pakistan’s top boxer Mohammad Waseem knocked out Indonesia’s Suparyanto Doglo in super flyweight (52 kg) category in Bangkok to win his career’s second professional fight.

The win on Saturday has paved the way for the Quetta born 28-year-old to take part in regional boxing events to be held next year.

Earlier on October 4, this year, Waseem had stepped into the professional boxing arena, and defeated Korea’s Min Wook Lee to win the Korean Boxing Commission (KBO) title in a stunning debut.

The 216-ranked super flyweight category boxer has been under training of Korea’s Andy Kim for the past six months.

Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) President Doda Khan Bhutto congratulated Waseem on his second consecutive success in professional boxing.
