KARACHI: KWSB announces Ramazan plan

KARACHI, Oct 27: Karachi Water and Sewerage Board Managing Director Brig Asif Ghazali has ordered special arrangements for disposal of sewage from around mosques and Imambargahs, to facilitate arrangements for Taraveeh during the holy month of Ramazan.

He directed that uncovered manholes be immediately covered, while complaint centres should promptly respond to resolve the problems faced by the people.

According to the KWSB, on the directive of Brig Asif, the Chief Engineer Sewerage has established 19 complaint centres, which would function from 8am to 5pm.—APP
