‘KU incident’

Published November 13, 2015

THIS refers to Anis Haroon’s letter ‘KU incident’ (Nov 7). I do agree with her that the administration of Karachi University did not handle the matter properly.

Some students’ organisations have spread fear among the students. They threaten students and commit unacceptable activities be it in a classroom or elsewhere on the campus.

Nobody can dare interfere because these organisations are supported by political parties. It is time that the university administration banned these student organisations for good. KU should be made an educational institution like other private universities.

Besides, organisations which can hold seminars, workshops, cultural activities and other healthy activities for students should be encouraged.
