The consultative body expressed concern over the increasing murder, dacoity and kidnapping for ransom cases in the province, and termed it a failure of the provincial government.

A resolution unanimously passed during the meeting of the Shura said that dacoits in the interior of Sindh and extortionists in urban areas had made the life of the masses miserable.

Another resolution praised the city government for announcing reduction in prices of edible items on the eve of Ramazan. It stressed the other district governments to follow the footsteps of the CDGK.—PPI
