Nine SHC judges take oath

KARACHI: Nine additional judges of the Sindh High Court took the oath on Friday.

SHC Chief Justice Faisal Arab administered the oath to Justice Ghulam Qadir Leghari, Justice Abdul Ghani Soomro, Justice Mohammed Iqbal Maher, Justice Khadim Hussain M. Shaikh, Justice Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan, Justice Mehmood A. Khan, Justice Mohammed Kareem Khan Agha, Justice Anwar Hussain and Justice Mohammed Faisal Kamal Alam on the SHC premises.

The number of SHC judges has now risen to 34 against the sanctioned strength of 40.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by SHC judges, the advocate general for Sindh, the president of the SHC bar association and senior lawyers.
