ISLAMABAD: A two-day family gala organised by Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) concluded here on Sunday at Fatima Jinnah Park.

The gala included puppet shows, gymnastics, a firefighting show and a bicycle show and featured many activities like mehndi applications, face painting and jumping castles. Cartoon mascots and stilt walkers roamed the pavements for children’s entertainment.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad also put on a special demonstration while many singers, including Malkoo and Nadeem Abbas performed in a musical concert.

Stalls were put up for food, jewellery, clothes and other items. The ITP had also put up some stalls where an education team aimed to raise awareness about road safety and traffic rules.

Visitors said it was a great opportunity for them to learn about traffic rules while enjoying great entertainment programmes.
