Pacquiao in talks with Amir and Mayweather

DOHA: Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is in negotiations with Floyd Mayweather and Amir Khan to take him on in what would probably the final fight of his illustrious career, he said on Thursday.

Speaking in Doha, where is visiting the AIBA World Boxing Championships, Pacquiao said a final decision on who his last opponent will be, would be taken by ‘November or December’.

The 36-year-old is on the verge of quitting boxing for politics and is likely to run for a seat in the Philippines’ senate next May.

He also said he would like to be the country’s president if it is ‘God’s will’.

Pacquiao confirmed he is in negotiations with Mayweather and Amir but said he had no preference about who is opponent will be.

“I will fight anybody, anywhere,” he said. “I am going to fight probably before the election.”

I'm sure it will be Floyd Mayweather, Jr. although retired, will make last effort for his 50th fight.There's more spice, audience, money and rivalry b/w these two than Amir Khan.

Mayweather says he's retired, and no one wants to see Pacquiao fight except the Philippinos. That means much smaller purses (money) for Amir Khan. On the other hand if he keeps winning that means better purses on his way up the ladder. As a rule, British fighters do not dominate in America. They never have; but Amir deserves his shot at a title if he keeps on winning in the US.

Dont think Floyd Mayweather would risk his career unbeaten record to fight against Manny Pacquiao. Floyd defeated Pacquiao easily and it was the biggest match in the boxing history. Most likely he might play with Amir, but it would be easy cake walk for him against Amir.

I am damn sure, Mayweaher wud wisely wait for the winner of Amir Khan-manny fight, bcz he wont be stupid to prefer Amir Khan in the first instance,since has has already beaten comfortably Manny, while Amir Khan has bravely beaten American pugilist in their own country.Mayweather may probably think twice favourably for Pakistani pugilist to earn heavy purse by attracting his world over fans as last chance in the ring.Besides, The trio-paramid boxing event may also be a wise step for wagon-loaded gold bricks for pension period happiness in Honolulu & Hawai enjoyment I presume before trio matches, Amir Khan should also try his training in MMA centre which is always more effective than boxing, its my practical experience. May GOD(swt) shower his Blessed 'shahzory' on him during fight!

Mayweather won't fight outside Las Vegas because medical supplement he takes for his hands not allowed anywhere else. I think it will be Amir Khan and Pacquiao in Dubai next year and they both can retire after this fight as both will get paid millions of dollars regardless who wins.
