KHUZDAR: Four people were killed and 20 others injured when a pick-up overturned on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway near Wadh area of Khuzdar district on Sunday.

Levies officials said the family of Abdul Rehman, the headmaster of a government-run high school in Zeedi area, were coming back to their village after celebrating Eid with their relatives in Wadh when their pick-up overturned at Pir Omer area some, 30km from Khuzdar, after its driver lost control over it.

Two men and two women were killed and 20 others injured in the accident. Levies personnel shifted the bodies and the injured to the Combined Military Hospital, Khuzdar, where the condition of four was said to be serious.
