Website review

I REALLY like the website reviews by Asif Ali as they are informative and the websites are fun to visit. We appreciate that YW publishes kid-friendly websites’ reviews only because it is easy for us to tell our parents about the websites and our parents then easily give us the permission to check them out.

The villains we love to hate

THIS is regarding the cover article “The villains we love to hate” compiled by Benazir Raz (YW, August 29, 2015). In most animated cartoon movies villains play main roles but they are often undermined and I agree with the writer that villains are crucial to the plot as they can make or break the movie and, after all, what is the use of heroes if there are no villains they could fight with?

The compilation of the villains was superb and I wished there would have been Chester V, from Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs 2 in the list but overall the list was great!

Going incognito

THIS is with reference to the cover article “Going incognito” compiled by Benazir Raz (YW, August 8, 2015).

The compilation was very nice and it helped me do my assignment related to the uses of masks historically.

I really liked reading “The weirdest of all” masks in the same article as it mentioned masks which not only appeared odd but there uses were also unusual and odd, so information like this is hard to get and I am thankful to the writer as well as to the YW for publishing articles on unique topics.

The development of jet engine

THIS is with reference to the article “The development of jet engine” by Jawaid Hyder (YW, August 8, 2015).

This was very informative piece regarding jet engines, but I think the writer should have gone into more detail by giving information about the engines used in the Pakistani fighting jets as well as commercial planes; we should know what technology is used here in Pakistan and why.

Did you know facts?

THIS is with reference to the “Did you know facts” (YW, September 12, 2015).

I was amazed to know about the facts related to saliva; I really didn’t know that saliva has healing properties and it acts as a painkiller as well. I am thankful to YW team for publishing such amazing articles and facts for its young readers.
