Fine performances by Rashid and Adnan

KARACHI, Oct 17: Rashid and Adnan Baig starred in their teams triumph in DHA Trophy KCCA Inter-firms cricket tournament on Thursday.

Rashid Ali smashed 82 with 11 boundaries as Sindh Police (SP) defeated City Government Karachi (CDGK) by three wickets at UBL Sports Complex Ground.

Aamir Kaleem produced a fine all-round display but his effort failed to save CDGK from defeat. He slammed 77 with five fours and took two wickets for 37 runs when SP batted.

At Student Ground, Central Police (CP) overwhelmed Hinopak Motors (HPM) by 76 runs. Mirza Adnan Baig hit a match winning 86 with five boundaries and a six.

CP mustered 240 for eight in 40 overs and than restricted HPM 174 for nine.
