PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education on Friday announced the results of Diploma of Associate Engineers’ annual examination for the 2015 session.

According to the results, 39,556 of the total of 75,252 candidates remained successful with the pass rate coming to 52.57 percent.

The overall first position in the three years diploma in electrical technology went to Shahbaz Ali of Muslim College of Technology Peshawar, who secured 3,118 of the 3,550 marks (87.83 percent).

The second position in electrical technology was clinched by Javed Rahim of the same college. He obtained 3,084 marks (86.87 percent).

Ubaid Javed of the KRL Institute of Technology, Kahuta, Islamabad, got third position by obtaining 2,922 of the total of 3,400 marks in chemical technology.

Shahbaz Ali of Muslim College secured first position in electrical technology, Ubaid Javed of KRL Institute of Technology Kahuta in chemical technology, Khalid Usman of Government College of Technology Peshawar in mechanical technology, Abdul Majid Adil of Prince Salman Institute of technology Islamabad in electronics technology, Aneela Aseer of Government Polytechnic Institute (Women) Peshawar in dress design and dress making technology.

According to KPBTE controller (examination) Hidayatullah, the results of DAE examinations (annual 2015) were prepared within 70 days.
