QUETTA: Three additional judges were sworn in as permanent judges of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Wednesday.
BHC Chief Justice Mohammad Noor Meskanzai administrated the oath to Justices Shakeel Ahmed, Mohammad Ejaz Swati and Muhammad Kamran Mulakhail at a ceremony held at the high court. Judges of the high court, lawyers and other officials attended the oath-taking ceremony.
According to a notification issued by the federal government’s Law, Justice and Human Rights Division, the president made the appointments in exercise of powers conferred by Article 193 of the constitution.
