QUETTA: Three additional judges were sworn in as permanent judges of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) on Wednesday.

BHC Chief Justice Moham­­­mad Noor Meskanzai administrated the oath to Justices Shakeel Ahmed, Mohammad Ejaz Swati and Muhammad Kamran Mulakhail at a ceremony held at the high court. Judges of the high court, lawyers and other officials attended the oath-taking ceremony.

According to a notification issued by the federal government’s Law, Justice and Human Rights Division, the president made the appointments in exercise of powers conferred by Article 193 of the constitution.
