Drama film Swaarangi, which marks Resham's comeback to cinema after seven years, is set to hit the screens on August 28.**

Based on a true story, Swaarangi follows Salma (Resham) as she struggles to save her children from a life of bonded labour after her drug addict husband (Naveed Akbar) decides to sell them for drug money. Ayub Khoso also stars as a 'Saieen' in the film.

The film boasts a soundtrack composed by Sahir Ali Bagga. Asrar has contributed to the soundtrack:
