KARACHI: The Generation Amazing Football League kicked off at the KMC Stadium on Monday with Al-Qadir school, Karachi United, Guardian School and Mohsin Gelani FC amongst the winners on the opening day.

Eight U-16 women’s teams are participating in the event which is being organised by the District Football Association South (DFA) Lyari in collaboration with global organisation ‘Right to Play’.

The tournament is being organised on the theme ‘football for hope’ and its objective is to use the power of football to positively influence the youth in Lyari, a news release said.—Agencies
