LAHORE: The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has kicked off Independence Day celebrations.

As part of the celebrations, the TDCP organised an Azadi Photo Walk on Thursday at Minar-i-Pakistan to commemorate the valour, bravery and struggle that the Muslims of the subcontinent under Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah displayed almost seven decades ago.

Students, professionals and people from different walks of life participated in the event.

TDCP Managing Director Ahmer Mallick emphasised that these types of events would promote and build strong connections of the youth with their ancestors who had scarified their lives for the future.
