MURREE: A National Throwball Umpiring Course 2015 commenced here at Murree on Wednesday and will conclude on Friday, July 31.

As many as ninety candidates are participating in the course from district as well as divisional, provincial and departmental levels. Also participating are school teachers, coaches, throwball umpires and other officials.

The Pakistan Throwball Federation officials who will be imparting training during the course are Maqbool Arain (throwball rules and beach rules) Rana Sajjad (history of throwball), Khalid Pervaz (scoresheet and umpire signals) and Qazi Farooqi (discipline).

PTF General Secretary Maqbool Arain was the chief guest at the opening ceremony while Secretary Punjab Throwball Association Rana Sajjad welcomed all participants and the guests.
