Besides, young Shan Masood who recently scored his maiden Test hundred in Pakistan’s fabulous Test win against Sri Lanka at Palekelle, is set to join UBL also. His father Mansoor Masood Khan is currently heading UBL in the United Kingdom and is also a member of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Body.

Left arm paceman Wahab Riaz, who has played for National Bank, is also in line to join UBL along with Pakistan and Islamabad all-rounder Imad Wasim. Other players looking to shift include discarded opener Sharjeel Khan and former Pakistan Under-19 spinner Karamat Ali.

The newly-inducted UBL Sports chief Nadeem Khan said the bank is aiming to revive the past glory by raising a strong cricket team.
