ABBOTTABAD: Four women were among six passengers killed and eight others injured when a wagon plunged into a deep ravine here on Friday.

Police said a van (6141 ATD) on way from Abbottabad to Sherwan village went out of driver’s control while negotiating a harp turn near Badyal area, and fell into a ravine, some 33km from here.

Six passengers identified as Adul Waheed, Ghani, Amreeza Jan, Makhan Jan, Asma Bibi and Naseem Akhter were killed on the spot. The injured were shifted by local people to the Ayub Medical Complex Hospital where condition of two was stated to be critical. — Correspondent
