KARACHI: Research moot at SZABIST

KARACHI, Oct 7: Information and research centre, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) will hold a two-day moot on “Budget and Sustainable Development in Pakistan,” on Oct 15 and 16, at the main auditorium of the institute at 90 Clifton.

During the four sessions of the conference, renowned financial experts will present their research papers, including Dr Karamat Ali, Dr Kairsar Bengali, Managing Director, SODC, Fazullah Qureshi, former federal secretary for planning and development, Dr Rajab Memon, Mohammad Sabir, Prof Mushtaq Mirani, and Sikanadar Brohi.

Highlighting the importance of the conference, the co-ordinator of the centre, Sikandar Brohi, said the main purpose of this seminar was to discuss the federal budget, which directly affected the poor in the country.—PPI
