KARACHI: A young man was shot dead in the Kalakot area on Sunday evening, according to police.

Unknown gunmen attacked the man in his early 20s, in Photo Lane, just 10 minutes before Iftar time. He sustained three bullet wounds fired from a 0.9mm pistol and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, said Kalakot SHO Haji Sanaullah. The identity of the victim could not be as­­ce­rtained immediately.
