THIS refers to meagre salaries of private school teachers. It is no secret that the management of various renowned private schools exploit teachers.

Mostly these teachers are paid salary far below the minimum wage announced by the government. There are certain schools which pay as little as Rs5,000 a month to teachers, who are required to work for six to eight hours.

I request the federal and provincial education ministries to take notice of this and ensure that at least the minimum wage is paid to teachers by the management of private schools.
