TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 5: PPP federal council secretary general and former minister Khalid Ahmad Kharal has said that the next ARD chief would be from PPP or PML-N.

Addressing a press conference in Kamalia on Sunday, he said the unity between the PPP and Patriots was out of question.

In the next ARD meeting, he said, a line of action would be drawn to launch a movement against the government.

Answering a question, Kharal said nation would never forgive MMA if it bargained with rulers against national interests.

STRIKE: A complete strike was observed by medical store owners on Sunday on the call of Pakistan Chemists and Druggists Association’s local chapter.

Sunday is not a weekly holiday in Toba as local businessmen, like other small towns in the Punjab, take day off on Friday.

The strike is being observed to protest the alleged blackmail of medical store owners by two Shaukat Butt and Nadeem Arif who demand “monthly” from owners.
