LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik said on Thursday those involved in the killing of lawyers in Daska would be brought to justice very soon.

The chief justice was talking to a delegation of the Gujranwala Bar Association in his chamber, said a press release issued by court’s media cell.

The members of the bar informed the chief justice about the situation in Daska. They lauded the efforts of Justice Malik in ensuring justice for the deceased lawyers and calming down the angry lawyers.

The chief justice assured the bar members that the killers of the lawyers would not escape the law.

PROTEST: Lawyerson Thursday observed partial strike on the fourth day of Daska incident and held protest gatherings.

Lawyers held protest demonstrations at PMG and GPO chowks. They chanted slogans against the PML-N leadership and police.
