RAWALPINDI:  A teenage girl, found hanging in her house in Pirwadhai on Tuesday, was suspected to have been killed.

SI Masood Ahmed who was leading the investigation into the case told Dawn that her parents had been in Mansehra leaving their daughter with her cousin who had been missing.

The IO said the father of the victim believed that his daughter had been killed by her cousin along with some persons and later hanged her.

Police said the body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.

However, a murder case has been registered by the police on the complaint of the father of the deceased girl.
