KARACHI: A small four-race card awaits racegoers in the Gymkhana race meeting which takes place after a fortnight at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

The races that were scheduled to take place on May 17 were cancelled due to mourning that was announced in the aftermath of Shia Ismaili community massacre that left 46 dead and several injured at Safoora Goth

Altogether, there are 21 acceptors who will vie for honours in the four races barring last minute withdrawal.

The first race will be run over four-and-a-half furlongs while the remaining three will go over five furlongs.

According to the schedule, the first race gets into action at 4pm.

THE KING PLATE SCALE ORDER IV 5 F:

Cigar 9-2, Wait A Second 8-12, Sher Dil 8-11, Shahzad Love 8-10, Dancing Queen 8-7, Soldier King 8-5, Meri Sahiba 8-3. Win: Soldier King. Place: Sher Dil.

THE KING PLATE SCALE ORDER II 5 F:

Tejori 9-0, Miss Oscar 8-13, All The Way 8-11, Lava Man 8-9, Countach 8-6. Win: Miss Oscar. Place: Tejori.
