SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Forces resorted to unprovoked intensified heavy firing on Sialkot border villages in Charwah sector of the Sialkot Working Boundary late on Friday, according to Chenab Rangers officials.
The firing remained continued for whole night where they targeted the civilian population in Charwah sector.
The Chenab Rangers retaliated the fire.
No loss of life or injury was reported, the officials said.

@rashid khan: Thanks! The Hindu is most respected, liberal (not vulgar like TOI) and un-biased news paper (though name has Hindu) People refer to Hindu as an authentication. Many people like me do not like its part of anti-Modi thing. Of course when it comes to national news like this, no one knows who right really. @Vik1 - Yes, The Hindu is a better paper. But as you can see it is merely reporting what a police officer said there. Naturally, a police officer will not claim to fire first. The dilemma remains which side to believe?

@Vik1 Of course it's a shot for a portrait. If that was a picture of soldiers retaliating with fire from the Pak side, they'd be picked off one by one thru sniper fire.
