KARACHI: New governing body of CDA

KARACHI, Oct 1: Sindh Government has made appointments of chairman and governing body members of the Coastal Development Authority (CDA) with immediate effect and would continue to work in their respective capacity till further orders.

Provincial minister for planning and development has been appointed as its chairman whereas the members are secretaries of Planning & Development, Finance & Cooperation, Forest & Wildlife, Irrigation & Power, Agriculture, Culture & Tourism, Local Government & Public Health Engineering, Works & Services, and Environment as well as MPAs Syed Ali Bux Shah (District Badin), Syed Karim Dino Shah Shirazi (District Thatta — a CM’s nominee). The other members are Haji Ghulam Qadir Malkani (district Thatta) and Jamaluddin Memon (District Badin — a CM’s nominee).—APP
