LAHORE: Zulfiqar Babar, left-arm orthodox test spinner, has replaced injured leg-spinner Yasir Shah in the upcoming three One-day Internationals (ODI) series against Bangladesh kicking off tomorrow at Mirpur.

Babar's flight to Bangladesh will depart tonight. Although he will be present at the match venue tomorrow, it is not clear if he will be participating in the match.

Yasir Shah was injured during a practice match against BCB XI in Fatullah and received three stitches on his left hand.

A press release issued earlier by the PCB did not mention any replacement for Yasir.

It is the third change on fitness grounds for the Bangladesh tour as first middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood was dropped for an arm fracture and Saad Nasim replaced him.

Then medium-fast bowler Sohail Khan was ousted due to stiff back problem. The selectors, however, elevated Junaid Khan, who was earlier selected for only Test and T20 teams, to be included in the ODI also.

Although Yasir has been ruled out of the ODI series, he is still in the Test team.

According to CricInfo Zulfiqar Babar last played an ODI in December 2014, and was not included in the World Cup squad.
