MINGORA, Sept 28: District Nazim of Swat Asfandyar Amir Zeb has asked members of the district council to follow rules and regulations of the house besides asking them to ensure full attendance in all sessions.

Speaking on the first day of the three-day-long meeting of the district council here on Saturday, the Nazim urged members to devote their attention towards their duties and asked them not to waste time by making lengthy speeches.

He informed the council members that if someone wanted to move a resolution, he would have to present it to the council’s secretary at least one week before the start of the session.

Presiding officer Saleemur Rahman also spoke on the occasion. Other Nazims assured the newly-elected district Nazim of extending their cooperation.
