LAHORE: Subscribers identity module (SIM) cards’ not meeting biometric verification by April 12 would be blocked and the deadline would not be extended, PTA Chairman Dr Syed Ismail Shah said on Friday.

He said this at a ceremony by Zong at Daewoo Pakistan Bus Service terminal at Kalma Chowk for the provision of 3G internet service for the passengers on motorway.

Mr Shah said SIM cards of the subscribers failing to avail the opportunity would be blocked.
