KARACHI: A fortnight camp in preparation of the 31st Asian Snooker Championship commenced at the National Bank of Pakistan Sports Complex on Monday.

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) has invited top three cueists of the country namely Hamza Akbar, Shahram Changezi and Mohammad Asif who are going through 10-hour rigorous training with a one-hour break daily. The camp, which is being supervised by Shoaib Alam, concludes on April 20.

The annual Asian spectacle will be held at Kuala Lumpur from April 23 to 30. Pakistan team is due to fly to the Malaysian city on April 21.
