SIALKOT: Three marriage halls were sealed for violating the official time schedule in Sialkot on Sunday night.

Reports said that District Coordination Officer Nadeem Sarwar had conducted raids on Singhaar Marriage Hall on Aimanabad Road, Shagun Marriage Hall in Hajipura and Hilton Marriage Hall on Paris Road and found the marriage functions continuing even after 10pm.

Police registered separate cases against owners of these marriage halls under the Marriage Act.

LOOTED: Two armed motorcyclists deprived a family of gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs5.5 million in Khokhar Town near Uggoki on Monday.

Reports said that trader Rehan Sikandar Malik and his family were going to Uggoki when two armed bikers intercepted their car and relieved them of 80 tolas of gold, cash and other valuables and fled.

Uggoki police have registered a case against two suspects under Section 392 of the PPC.
