KARACHI: PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain agreed on Friday on the need for convening a conference of all political parties to decide whether the country should join a Saudi Arabia-led coalition against Yemeni rebels.

According to a press release issued by the MQM from London, both leaders discussed over phone matters related to political and law and order situation in the country as well as the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemeni rebels.

They agreed that a conference should take a decision regarding the situation in Yemen while keeping in view Pakistan’s interests.
