SAHIWAL: A three-day annual tent-pegging festival started in Pakpattan on Friday.

The event was inaugurated by Pakpattan District Coordination Officer Akhter Mahmood while MNA Mian Ahmed Raza Maneka was also present on the occasion.

Chief organiser Dewan Saeed said that around 200 players from 15 tent-pegging teams across Punjab were participating in the traditional festival.

RUSSIAN ENVOY: Russian Ambassador Alexey Yurivich Dedov visited the Harappa Museum on Friday.

He visited the city on the invitation of Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Sohail Anjum Ansari.
