Justin Bieber celebrates his 21st birthday

JUSTIN Bieber celebrated his 21st birthday on March 1, by renting a private Caribbean isle near Grenada for a party that started last Saturday evening (February 28).

In the past few weeks, The Baby singer had been making a string of appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres show to try and undo the bad boy reputation he created for himself following his scandals involving throwing eggs at his neighbour’s house, street racing and late night partying.

Apart from that, recently the singer has moved from a $60,000-a-month mansion to a measly $35,000-a-month hovel in Beverly Hills. The 6,000sqft two-storey house, boasts just five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and four fireplaces, with a mix of white terrazzo, Brazilian hardwood floors, home theatre, office, ‘chef’s gourmet kitchen’, a large grassy yard with beautiful pool and ‘serenity fountain’. The 10,236sqft lot also features stunning views of the surrounding canyon and of Century City below.

Happy Birthday Atif Aslam

March 12, 1983

THIS day, Atif Aslam was born in Wazirabad, Pakistan. He soon moved to Lahore (his hometown) and started his education. Throughout his school and college life, Atif was more enthusiastic about cricket than anything else. He aspired to be a cricketer some day and music was probably the last thing on his mind. However, as fate would have it, in 2004 his first album Jalpari was released.

Atif Aslam was awarded Tumgha-e-Imtiaz in April 2008 by the Government of Pakistan because of his remarkable achievements in music. Apart from that he has also won many awards for his singing and in 2013, he received The Brandlaureate International Brand Personality Award.
