Junior squash begins

PESHAWAR: Several matches were decided in U-9, U-11 and U-13 categories on the opening day of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Talent Hunt Junior Age Group Squash Championship which got underway here at the PSB Coaching Centre here on Tuesday.

Former World No. 2 and Director Sports Mohibullah Khan formally inaugurated the championship with two PSB coaches namely Shehzad Mohib and Pervez Khan also being in attendance on the occasion.

Mohibullah while talking to APP said that the talent hunt is being conducted in three different age groups — U-9, U-11 and U-13 —wherein, he added, 100 kids were taking part.
