We all know the Academy Awards aren't just about appreciating talent in the industry: they're also about who's wearing what on the red carpet. Full-length beaded gowns, daring slits and dazzling jewels, the 2015 Oscars had it all. Plenty of stars brought their A-game, but who took the cake?

Here are our favourite looks from the night:

J-Lo proves she's not just Jenny from the Block anymore. Looking radiant in this plunging Elie Saab number, she looks elegant with a slicked back high pony-tail and a pale pink pout.

Also dressed in Elie Saab, the actress stunned in a long-sleeve, chartreuse custom-made gown. She wore her red mane up, paired with a peachy coral pucker which complimented the risque dress well. While the night was supposed to be about her Best Supporting Actress nomination for Birdman, we can't stop raving about her look!

The Pitch Perfect star looked picture perfect in this custom peach Thakoon gown, which she kept from looking dull by rocking dramatic thickly-kohled eyes.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Paltrow opted for a girly glam look with this one-shoulder powder pink Ralph & Russo ensemble. While she didn't show off too much skin, the curve hugging dress showed off her physique in the best possible manner. She paired the frock with Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie's Fire Phoenix earrings which gave it an edge and kept it from looking too frilly.

Jennifer Aniston

The 46-year-old Cake actress looked flawless in a nude and glittery Versace gown. She skipped out on accessories only donning her massive engagement rock and kept her hair sleek for this timeless look.

The fashionista was clad in a navy blue and black Oscar de la Renta gown, which has a velvet bow detailing. She wore light Forevermark jewels and kept the dress from going over the top. This was a fashion risk that definitely paid off.

Julianne Moore

Moore, who bagged the Best Actress award for Still Alice, looked like a vision in her intricate Chanel Haute Couture dress which reportedly took a whopping 927 hours to make. Coupled with Chopard jewels, the actress looked like a million bucks.

Watts hit the red carpet in an embellished black and silver Armani gown that only she could pull off. She bared just the right amount of skin and wore a plum pout to add a pop of colour and avoid looking dull.
