Lady Gaga and her longtime boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney, are engaged, the singer shared on her Twitter account on Monday.

"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" Lady Gaga, 28, said on Instagram, displaying a photo of a heart-shaped ring.

She and Kinney, 33, met in 2011 on the set of Gaga's set of 'You and I' music video which was shot in Nebraska. Coincidentally, Kinney played her love interest in the video where she wore her mother's wedding dress. The couple dated after a few months following the video shooting and parted ways for a while in May 2012 only to get back together in June 2012, reported US.

Gaga is also set to make her Oscar debut on February 22 at the 87th Academy Awards this year.

The 28-year-old singer, whose hits include "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance," recently won a Grammy Award for her album Cheek to Cheek with veteran singer Tony Bennett.

Kinney stars in the NBC series Chicago Fire.
