Infant kidnapped

VEHARI: An infant was kidnapped for ransom in Burewala tehsil about 50 kilometres from here on Saturday.

Reports reaching here said Ali Hasan, two-year-old son of farmer Allah Ditta, was playing outside his house and went missing. The family found outside the house a note with a demand of Rs3 million ransom.

Ali’s father informed the Sahoka police who registered a case against unknown kidnappers under section 363 of PPC.

SHO Zulfiqar Olakh said the police raided various places in the area and arrested four suspects for interrogation. He said the kidnappers would be arrested soon.
