Auschwitz

Published January 30, 2015

LEADING Western news channels — BBC, CNN, Fox, Sky and DW among them — recently telecast special programmes on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. They repeated what has been repeated ad nauseam — that the Nazis persecuted the Jews.

They were made guinea pigs of and butchered. David Irving, while admitting that Jews were murdered by the Nazis in large numbers, doesn’t agree with the six-million figure and says the number was far less.

Let us not forget that hundreds of thousands of non-Jewish Poles, gypsies and non-Nazi Germans also perished in Auschwitz and other concentration and extermination camps.

Leaving aside these considerations, the German persecution of the Jews doesn’t give the latter the right to occupy Palestine and tyrannise upon the Palestinian people.

If the Western media is so concerned about war crimes and crimes against humanity, why does it keep quiet on the death and destruction spread in Gaza by Israel, including the bombing of apartment buildings, UN-run schools and mosques?
