RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two persons were shot dead by two bikers over a land dispute near Chowk Sawetara in Sadiqabad tehsil, some 60kms from here, on Sunday.

Reports said that Barkat Ali was going to Sadiqabad from Obaro along with his son Jazab Ali. Near Chowk Sawetara, they stopped their bike to meet Abdul Majeed. As they were in discussion, two unidentified bikers came there and opened fire on them. Consequently, Barkat Ali and Majeed died instantly while Jazab Ali remained unhurt.

A few days back, Agha Muhammad Bakhsh, Jabar and Lalo along with their accomplices had allegedly murdered Abid Ali, son of Barkat Ali, in Machka.

Police had registered a murder case against the three accused on the report of Hazaron Bibi, the mother of deceased Abid Ali.

Police sent bodies to a hospital for autopsies and started investigation.
