GUJRANWALA: The City District Government has sealed 38 illegally-constructed buildings in Nandipur and Khayali Shahpur towns.

On the direction of DCO Azmat Mehmood, Nandipur Town administrator Maryam Kiyani sealed 12 commercial buildings.

The Khayali Shahpur Town administrator also took action and sealed 26 buildings.

The authorities issued show-cause notice to an enforcement inspector.

KILLED: Jubilation firing at a wedding ceremony claimed a youngster’s life in Nowshehra Virkan on Sunday.

Some participants in the wedding of Javed, allegedly under the influence, started aerial firing as a result of which a bullet hit Safdar Iqbal who died on the spot.

The police registered a case against Javed and his friends including Aslam and Qasim.
