Nawabshah roads

Published January 22, 2015

THE streets have started narrowing in Nawabshah Town, owing to encroachments, construction of unauthorised structures and extending the front space of shops.

Shopkeepers have allowed hawkers and pushcart owners to sell their goods in front of their shops and charge them Rs300 a day, making it extremely difficult for pedestrians and shoppers to move around.

On Kutchery Road, stamp and photostat vendors and notary public have illegally set up their sheds.

The district administration should shift the notary public, and stamp and photostat vendors to the Civil Court’s premises and demolish all illegal structures.

The deputy commissioner should cancel the licenses of notary public and stamp vendors who do not voluntarily shift to the Civil Court’s premises.
