Social media has made a celebrity out of many who, until recently, were content with being mostly invisible — news-persons, commentators, analysts and researchers. Now, thanks to their large following among the Twitterati, they stand alongside politicians, sport stars and celebrities, sometimes offering unconventional wisdom compressed in 140 characters.

Herald has invited several writers and journalists with a large following and presence on social media to share their answer to the following question. From among those who frequently tweet about Pakistan, or from Pakistan:

"What was the Pakistani tweet of the year in 2014?"

Dawn.com invites its readers to answer the question above. Selected comments will be published in the upcoming issue of the Herald.
