MANSEHRA: The district administration has summoned a meeting of heads of private and public sector schools and colleges today (Thursday) to evolve a foolproof security plan in view of the terrorist attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar.

“We have called a meeting of the principals and headmasters of the private and government schools, including the only army public school in the district, to evolve a security plan to curb Peshawar like attacks here,” said Tasleem Khan, the additional deputy commissioner, while speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday.

He said that the meeting would be followed by a comprehensive security plan to be evolved in a meeting of lawenforcement agencies to be held on Friday.

He said that deputy commissioner Amir Khattak would chair both the meetings as the district administration wanted the schools’ administration to not only extend their full support in curbing Peshawar-like attacks in the district but also to induct their own security staff.

“We want the schools’ administration to let us know whatever happens on the premises of their institutions but also of their security plans,” he said.

Mr Khan said that the administration would also ensure that owners never rented their houses to aliens or people migrated here from other parts of the country.
