OKARA, Sept 12: Two men were murdered, while another sustained injuries in two separate incidents on Thursday.

Riaz had allegedly developed illicit relations with the sister-in-law of one Nawaz of Khingranwala village near Deepalpur. They had an exchange of hot words over the issue a few days ago but people of the area reconciled between them.

Riaz and his brother Basharat were watering their fields when Nawaz, Arshad, Mian Khan and others opened fire on them killing the former on the spot and injuring the latter seriously.

Basirpur police have registered a case.

In the other incident, friends Zulifqar alias Lara and Zulifqar son of Mukhtar of Chak 43/4-L went for hunting where they exchanged hot words over some issue and Lara shot his pal dead.
